Mother’s Day Cocktail

Cobblers are one of the oldest cocktails, and were really popular in the latter half of the nineteenth century. They took off in America, as a way to mask the poor quality of the wine and sherry available! This is a nice and light cocktail, that won’t get Mum too tipsy with her lunch!

Rhubarb Cobbler

125ml Chase Rose Wine

Dash of Lemon Juice

3 Dashes Rhubarb Bitters

25ml Rhubarb Liquer

25ml  Martini Rosato

Shake and strain over ice in a tall glass

Rim the glass with crushed gingerbread and garnish with a sprig of mint

Cheers

Paul
